What is EDTEC?

When you started in the EDTEC program, you may have been:

• An educator looking for a way to incorporate technology into the classroom
• A corporate trainer trying to sort out the buzz about e-learning
• A member of the military, learning about the ISD process used for decades

EDTEC systematically applies learning theory, psychology, research, and technologies
to solve instructional and performance problems. EDTEC uses:

• Analysis to define a performance problem or skill deficiency
• Design and development of instruction or other interventions, and
• Evaluation to determine whether the proposed solution is appropriate.
