Reinventing ITS at SDSU

Project management is a valuable tool in every instructional designer's toolkit. However, today's ID is tomorrow's training manager, chief learning officer and leader in our field. To be successful, you'll need new tools in your management belt and new strategies to be successful. In this session, we'll learn a process to develop a strategic plan for your organization. We'll also look at how this process was applied to SDSU's Instructional Technology Services (ITS) department to develop a vision, prioritize programs and services, develop a project roadmap, and respond to financial constraints imposed by the state's budget shortfall.
