newThe budget and you!

We in EDTEC are alive and well--thanks to dedicated students and a thriving job market. But until California's economy improves, San Diego State University has instituted emergency policies to which we must adhere. Following are the key things you need to know!

First -- We won't be admitting students for Spring 2010. But that certainly doesn't mean that you can't begin your EDTEC coursework in the Spring. To learn how, please email the Dept Chair or Dept Coordinator.
Second -- We have an an accelerated timeline for Fall 2010 admissions: February 1, 2010 is the priority deadline for submitting your CSUMentor application, with the Department materials due on or before March 1, 2010. To ensure your application is ready for review, please review our How to Apply page or email the Dept Chair or Dept Coordinator.
Third -- Most bargaining units at SDSU approved a 2-day-per-month furlough to help meet the budget shortfall. Therefore, the EDTEC office is closed on the following days:
September 4 and 18
October 9 and 30
November 13 and 25
December 21 through 30
January 4 and 19
February 12 and 26
